Book Cover Redesign

Phoenix Publishing House needed a redesign for the covers of some classic pieces of literature literature. They were specifically looking for designs that contained symbolism that had not previously been utilized. I was assigned Pride and Prejudice. Typical covers for this book include a peacock of peacock feathers to symbolise pride. I opted for a wall of roses to symbolise Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet’s love. Although they faced the thorns of societal expectations, family drama, pride, and prejudice, their love eventually bloomed and turned them both into kinder people.
